Annual Stud Visit

The annual stud visit was blessed with glorious weather! First stop was the Cadlanvalley Stud where we saw lovely section B ponies along with the two Colne section A’s; Tulip and Torpedo. We then headed over the Preseli mountain for Sunday lunch at Tafarn Sinc before ending the day at the Glyncoch Stud with a lovely selection of Section A’s, C’s and D’s with Glyncoch Hyfryd the Royal Welsh and Cuddy Champion closing the show.

May we as an  association thank both families and their helpers for their lovely welcome and hospitality.

The first Sunday of September saw a coach load of members and friends setting off on the Annual Stud visit. This year being to the Brynseion Stud where the four sections of the breed were present. A very enjoyable time was had leisurely walking around the fields visiting the mares, and then returning to the yard for a display of in hand and ridden ponies and cobs before we were treated to a feast on the lovely grounds surrounding their home. Our sincere thanks to Mr and Mrs Fell for their kind hospitality and warm welcome.
